NYSCI Partnership
Q372 and Q422 are in a partnership with New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) to promote STEAM enrichment program in our Pre-K classrooms. This program includes STEAM curriculum development, professional learning & coaching for teachers, specialized class field trips, and STEAM family days for over 300 families in Corona. Teachers have been attending professional development from NYSCI on activities which correlates with their curriculum. Students have been engaged in those hands on activities in their classrooms. Families have been invited to learn about the partnership between the Mosaic PreK Centers and New York Hall of Science. They participated in STEAM activities. They also received backpack filled with materials that they can used to support STEAM at home.
